wohoooo .... im back !!!

Contrary to popular believe, I have not gone missing, I am still alive and kicking and yes !!! I AM BACK NOW !!!!

ok, just a quick updates of what i have been up to lately.

1) Gal Gal had been busy travelling around the whole world (acutally China only) for a while ...... and we had been missing for 1/2 a year cos the Fat one refuse to on the computer for me to blog. (Correction : "the Fat one DOES NOT KNOW how to on the computer for me to blog)

2) Remember this new villager?

Well, we are happy that we have found a good home for him ..... I kind of miss him, a very happy, obedient and nice little fellow, except when he see food. He turns into a hooligan when he sees food. I hope he is happy whereever he is now.

3) Remember this OTHER villager?

Yes, thats her at the back. The big fat golden one.

She has learn to poo at the right place now !!! THANK DOG !!! Thats like after one and a half months..... thats how errr ..... not fast ...... she is *dumb bimbo*

The funny thing about her is that she KNOWS where to poo AT NIGHT, during the day, she pees at the wrong place !!!!! She is the dumbest bimbo that I have ever seen, something is wrong with her !!! Maybe we should blindfold her so that she will think that everytime is night time so she will pee at the right place .... hahahahaha

3) you guys remember Mr A? The one who "give / dump" his 5 month old husky with us?

Oh ! I have "G.R.E.A.T." updates about him !! Remember he had a GR puppy? Well, recently, I heard he bought a GR with Champion blood (whatever those craps means - blood are blood to me) and is giving away the puppy GR ~~~~~ ....... and again, he ask my dear brother, Bond, for help. And of cos, my selfish brother refuse to help!!! And I guess Bond did the right thing! Look MR A, if you are reading this (which i doubt :P) ........ I think you are very ...... errrr ...... handsome ........

oh wait !!! you think thats all ? nope , wait a minute. Mr A also pass us some GR puppies (where he got those, we are not interested and we dont know and dont want to know). And we are now helping to find some good homes for those puppies. So if you know of anyone who is interested in some 4 months old puppies, do let us know ..... they are very cute and grow well !!

4) Me? Oh as usual, I have been busy eating and sleeping and getting angry with the new villagers who NEVER fails to disturb me!!! I have been snapping at them at least twice a month when they go overboard, but the problem is I have always failed to bite them as my snort is too short to reach them ..... *sign* ...... is there any surgery to make my mouth and teeth and face less flat ?

Phew ! What A lot of writing ! I will update soon !!

Busy House !!!!

I have been so busy at home !!! And guess with what ????

Toilet training for the new villagers of cos !!! First it was toilet training for the Husky, and I must tell you! He is so smart ! He learns fast ! He got it within like 3 days ? And he is a clean freak! He wouldnt step on his pee and poo ! That's so nice of him.

Well, i cant say the same for the other new villager. She is a direct opposite of Husky boy! she is a DIRTY FREAK !!!

AFTER 3 LONG WEEKS, she is still not getting her toilet training right :S ..... Even after I show her, scream at her, bite her, bark at her, kick at her, she sometimes still get the toilet training wrong !!! **sigh** What shall I do with her .......

As you can see from the picture below, we are all one big happy family, well, except Mr husky. I notice that Mr Husky does not like to smile at all, And I wonder why.

Recession

Recession is a big word to us doggies, it actually does not make too much sense to us.

I heard the human say Recession = Cut cost. ..... both are big words to me........

But recently, I saw the human do this to us....... this is our ORIGINAL pee pad

Look at the size compare to our food bowl.

Recently, the humans have cut the above pee pad into 8 pieces and this is what you see now
LOOK AT THE SIZE NOW !!! Luckily we are now smart enough to pee ONTO the pee pad and not outside ........

Any idea what is this recession and cost cutting thingy ? Are they edible? good or bad ?

Let me go figure that out in my dreams zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Breakfast and dinner?

You know, I only have one meal per day. And thats dinner. Gal Gal is always saying, "old man doesnt need to eat so much"

But you know what? I found out that Zen and Patches eat two meals per day ! They have breakfast and dinner EVERY SINGLE DAY !!! Oh man ! Life is so unfair..........

When they were here, Zen and Patches' mum give me specific instructions for their feeding.

LISTEN UP !! This is what she said, "Here is a patty for Zen and Patches breakfast and dinner, they are to finish this for their breakfast and dinner."

Zen and Patches breakfast and dinner for a day.

And this is what their mum said next, "Divide this patty into 1/2. For breakfast, Patches will have 1/4 of the 1/2 and Zen will have 3/4 of the 1/2. For dinner, Patches will have 1/2 of the 1/2 and Zen will have 1/2 of the 1/2."

I ... .... I ..... I ...... I really dont understand woman ...... why must they make my life so difficult? I mean all those 1/2 and 1/4 and 3/4 ..... is she sure that they will end up as ONE WHOLE?

I ..... I ..... I ...... I am going for my maths class now ...... anyone wants to come along?

We were having a small village conference yesterday with the 2 new additions (in fact only one is new) yesterday.

Boo Boo (BB) : Welcome to our village ! As a village head, each of us shall now brief you on our village rules. So LISTEN UP, especially the new guys !

Bond : I cant remember which rule number this is, but it says "NO fighting is allowed - if you must fight, please do not draw blood, or else .........(oppppssss, its the Chinese New Year now, I am not supposed to say bad or threatening things, so please fill in the blank ............

Zen : Yeah Yeah Yeah ........

Girl Girl the CKCS : No peeing or pooing except INSIDE the toilet, or else ........... **piak piak piak*** ........

Boy Boy the CKCS : No running outside the house and gate, or else ............ ***whisper : dont ever come back*** .... As a guide, do not cross the line shown in the below pic

Boo Boo : ok !! These are the basic house rules, learn them well and you will enjoy your stay here.

Zen : Hey ! Patches ! Didnt you tell me this is a nice holiday resort ? Didnt you tell me the people and dogs here are nice ? How come you didnt tell me about all these rules !!?? I felt like I am in prison !!

Patches : Hey Sistar ! Everything comes with a price ! You want to enjoy resort facilities you have to pay with a price ! you didnt ask me for the price tag .........

This is the first time that I am showing off my cooking skills, all this skills doesn't come easy. You need lots of practise to make it perfect.

First of all, you need minced beef / chicken / pork or any meat. You have to decide the quantity. But the quantity should be enough to feed a village. I have a small village here, so I am only cooking this much

Next, put in 4 raw eggs, or you decide the amount of eggs that you need.

Then mix the egg and meat until it is very even and lay the patty on a plate like this. You may want to draw some lines on the patty so that it will be evenly cooked.
Next, put the whole plate into a steamer and steam for about 7 minutes and your dinner is ready !!!

Oh wait ! remember we had 4 eggs earlier, DO NOT throw away the egg shell. Egg shell are good source for calcium. What you can do is to get a pounder, put all the egg shell in, like this And you just keep pounding and pounding for about 5 minutes and you should get powdered egg shell like this
You can sprinkled the egg shell onto the meat and your dinner is ready !!! Start chomping pal !

Thanks for all the concern, I am fine!

Let me tell you in details what actually happen that day. Girl the CKCS was eating something NOT yummy on MY bed, and when I went over to take over my bed, that not-so-lady lady just suddenly lunged at me and attacked my handsome face. There was some exchange of words between the both of us and Gal Gal the human came and broke up the fight, chased Girl the CKCS away from MY bed, punished the CKCS and put me down on MY bed.

After she was done with punishing the CKCS, she came and kiss me, but she was shocked to see that the WHOLE of my left eyes is bloodied !!! No exageration, it was the whole eye, she thought that the CKCS had punctured my eyes or something.

As it was past midnight then, I did not go to the vet. Gal Gal the human give me first aid immediately.

But luckily I only had a tear on my eye lid and my balls, I mean eye balls, are still intact and not injured. Phew !!!

Oh, Girl the human punished the CKCS soooooooooooooooo HARD that the CKCS did not dare to come near to me or the human for the whole day, when she sees either of us, she practically went into hiding.

Well, I shall be forgiving and forgive her then:)

Oh, this is my handsome eye and face. No visible wounds :)

Last night I was feeling very tired after all the SLEEPING, EATING and running around the house, that I felt like sleeping again.

So I went to my bed in the living room and look for my bed. when I approached the bed, Girl, the CKCS was already sleeping on the bed, as it is MY BED, I went over and want to sit on it.

But before I can do anything, that stupid gal lunged at me and bite my face .......... immediately, i screamed so loudly.......

That stupid Girl bite my face and I had a small little wound near my eyes, but its nothing serious although it swell up last night.

Gal Gal the human was not very happy about it, she punished Girl the CKCS real HARDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD for starting the fight ...... and had her confined in a room all by herself !!! hmmmmmmmm ....... she is still in that room all alone now, and we had not heard any sound from that room since last night, I wondered what had the human done to her ..... maybe they are cooking her for our dinner tonight ?

Ouch ouch ouch, I want to go sleep now, rest my wound, I must look handsome for the new year :)

In case you need to know, this is the culprit who bite me and refuse to have her photo taken !

Stay away from her fangs !!!!

I have 2 important news to announce today. One is LUNA IS UP FOR ADOPTION

Luna is a female cocker spaniel looking for a NEW HOME !!! Look how sweet she is

Girl Girl had the opportunity to meet up with her last week and she has such good temperament, she is so mild and cool ! She didn't even react when Girl Girl bite her or pretend to strangle her !!! (ok, please dont ask me what is wrong with my Girl Girl, I got absolutely NO IDEA why she wants to do that to a nice dog like luna!!)

There will be an adoption drive this sunday (28 Dec) at The Beach Hut at East Coast Park from 9am to 2pm. And you will be able to spot her easily !

Like any other dogs / puppies, she will need some basic potty training when she is at her NEW home, other than that, she is a very nice dog.

Help pass the word around will you ? LUNA NEEDS A GOOD HOME !!

You guys remember Patches ? That little mop which came to stay with us ? Well, she she ... she .... she broke my heart ...... she say that I have body odour ........ ***sigh***

Well, you see, previously, Girl Girl give me a bath every week, but as I aged, she has been giving me lesser and lesser bath. She will only bath me when I stink. My best friend Benji and Boy Boy the poodle both passed away the next day after they had their bath.

Now that I am aging, Girl Girl has the phobia of me going away after my next bath, so she tries to prolong it as much as she can ........

So I dont really blame Patches for saying I have body odour ...... its all Girl Girl's fault !!!!!

Ok, I got to be really realistic here, I know there are many sad vibes going around in DWB recently, but I will start the next few post on my ageing process, so that other dogs can look out for the signs of ageing, which many owners have been deliberately avoiding the topic. Come back in February if you dont want to have any of this sad vibes around ok ? Cos I know the next few post is sad, but informative. :)

Oh yeah !!!!!! Patches is finally home with her mum !!!! This is such a big piece of news to ME and the human. Why ? Now, let me tell you why.

You see, in my family, Boy Boy the CKCS is the talkative one, he talks (ie whine) whenever he wants anything, and yes, I mean anything, he talks when he wants a walk, he talks when he wants to pee, he talks when he wants to poo, he talks when he wants to eat ...... he practically talk talk talk talk talk and makes lots of noise when he wants anything at all. Oh yes, he talks also when he gets scolded, its just like he is grumbling ......... but ..... he talks (ie whine) for a reason!!

Now you see, ever since Patches comes to my house, for some unknown reason, she talks every morning !!!! And we have no idea who or what or why is she talking, she just wake up and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk and talk .... and it can last for the whole one hour when the human are preparing themselves to work.

On the second day, Patches started talking early in the morning again, before the human wakes up, until the human couldnt take it any more and threw the pillow in her direction and told her to shut up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But do you think she did ? no !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she continue talking.

And she only stop talking when the humans step out of the house ............. WHATS WRONG WITH HER !!!!!!!!!!??????????

Phew ! I am so glad that now we can have a quiet morning ......... every morning ......... quiet morning is so good .........

by the way, anyone knows what Patches was talking about every morning ?

Oh yeah, by the way, I sure miss her ........ she is one cutie sweetie pie .

OK !! Some of you guess it correctly !!! The little gal is Zen's sister, Patches !

Patches has ran away from home to our house and now Girl Girl has to help comb her hair at least twice a day.

I told Girl Girl not to comb Patches hair as she does not ever groom me at all ..... ok, not that I have that much fur to groom, BUT ..... thats besides the question...... Anyway, being a good owner, Girl Girl listen to me and didnt comb Patches hair for a while, and GUESS WHAT !!!!! This is what happen to Patches head when it is not groom !!!

I swear that is Patches' head and not her fat bum !!!!!

Anyway, I couldn't bear that look on her anymore, it just look so ........... ummmhhhhhh ..... ... ... ... never mind. So I beg Girl Girl to help groom Patches ......

New Dog in the House

Remember last week I mentioned that Bond is going to bring a girlfriend home ? Anyway, he did brought a girlfriend home on saturday, but whose girlfriend, we are still not sure now ......

Oh yes, this is the gal, do you see her ...... .... eyes and fangs ?????? ............ Oh MY MY MY !!!

She got evil eyes and evil fangs .......... but she has not used her evil eyes and evil fangs on anyone of us yet, cos Bond mentioned to her before that, if she were to use her evil eyes or evil fangs, Bond will not think twice to sit on her, I think that scares her off for a moment.

Oh yes, I am now sitting , sleeping, eating, dreaming with her 24/7 ...... dont be jealous you boys.

The things about baby sheep

Ok, I thought I would have recovered from my People Eating dogs trauma .... But then who knows ..... Gal Gal send me more shocking news ....... ***faint***

This time, Gal Gal told me that they were having dinner in a restaurant one day, and they they were served this funny looking soupy thingy ..... and not knowing what it was, Gal Gal stayed cleared of it.

One of Gal Gal's friend couldn't bear with the curiosity any more and he started the ask the host what that dish was ............. oh I tell you, he is better off not asking ..... cos he only asked AFTER he had ate that dish.

Well, that dish is ****drum rolls******

Babies lamb, or lamb foetus . Ok, that means they are unborn babies lamb taken out of the mother's sheep stomach .... and they cooked it ........................

Lucky Gal Gal didnt touch that dish ...... phew !!! I think Gal Gal had a very intersting time in China .......... the land of everything goes on the table .................

Oh man !!!! I just got a TERRIBLE HORRIBLE INCORRIGIBLE UNIMAGINABLE (what do you think of my vocabulary ? This certainly comes with age) ... hiak hiak hiak hiak

Oh yes, I was saying I just got a TERRIBLE HORRIBLE INCORRIGIBLE UNIMAGINABLE email from Gal Gal.

Gal Gal is now in China. I wonder what she is doing there now, maybe to get milk powder perhaps ? ..... yucks ..... WHAT IS SHE DOING THERE .....

Anyway, the email says, Gal Gal was having dinner with some china people, and the china people ask if she would want to eat some DOG MEAT !!! Oh my Dog !!!! China people actually eat dog meat????????

Anyway, Gal Gal turned down the offer. And the China people brought her to a resturant and they DID NOT have any dog meat. But half way through the dinner, Gal Gal can hear dogs whining, and crying and whining, and crying, and whining, and crying and whining ............. at the back of the restuarant .........

OH MY DOG !!!!! Are they killing the dogs ?????????????? Gal Gal stomach turn inside out and ouside in and upside down and down side up immediately as the whining and crying lasted almost through out the dinner .................

WHY DO CHINA PEOPLE EAT DOG MEAT ??????????/

I am so very glad I am not in China ......

Do you think you can bear to eat a cute little dog like me ? Before you answer, let me tell you more, I am old and my meat is NO LONGER tender, they are tough and you could break your teeth biting into my meat. I do not have much meat, except for some lose wrinkly skin.

I had steamed cod fish for din din !!!! The cod fish was so yummilicious that I finish EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF IT !!! Even the soupy soup !!!

One thing I dont quite understand is how can the human stuffs so MUCH FOOD into them ???? I mean look at those pictures !!! I am sure those good food can last a life time !!! faint .... dont you think those humans are just PLAIN greedy ? .... the least they should do is to safe some for us right ?????

I am staging a protest ! I refused to talk to them until they serve us something nice to eat !!!

A fall from the bed

I was sleeping on the bed together with the human yesterday night, and suddenly, Gal Gal heard a very loud "POOOOMMM" and woke up to find me on the floor .........

Ouch ......... silly me fell from the bed onto the floor .......... OUCHYYYYY .... .... But no worries, I am alright.

Gal Gal woke up immediately and check that I was alright, and put me onto the bed again ..... but I stood up again and stare at the floor, I WANT TO GET DOWN .....

So Gal Gal thought I needed the loo and carry me to the loo ..... and put me to bed again ...... but I stood up AGAIN and stare at the floor, I WANT TO GET DOWN ......

So Gal Gal thought I needed some water and carry me to my water bowl ..... and put me to bed again ...... but I stood up AGAIN and stare at the floor, I WANT TO GET DOWN .....

This time, the smart gal finally give up and carry me from the bed and promptly put me on the floor ......... Guess what I did ?

I ran to my food bowl and started eating my leftover dinner ..................

That silly Gal Gal, what can be more important than my beauty sleep, FOOD OF COURSE !!! not the loo or water ...............

My VIRGIN master piece

I am proud to present to everyone my VIRGIN Master piece - a mini blanket !!!

This is the first time I am doing something like this, and this is the first time my old paws drew something.

I am now so upset ....... ..... ....

I have only been away for one week, and when I come back, I realised that SOME OF MY FRIENDS are upset !! .... ..... ..... Oh man !! what happened? I want my cheerful friends back !!!

I check with my lazy brother, Bond, and I realised that some of my friends are upset cos of an insensitive comment that one blogger made over here.

Now, DWB has always been a very peaceful and nice place for dogs all over the world to share their knowledge and also to make more friends. So, I think we should keep it this way, be nice to people, do not make insensitive remarks and I am sure the DWB spirit will go a long way :)

We should always feel proud of ourselves, irregardless of our breed, size, color, and *AHEM** age .... ... ... YES !! I AM PROUD TO BE OLD !!! DONT YOU DARE CHALLENGE ME ON MY AGE (I doubt there are many dogs who are as old or older than me :P )!! AND DONT YOU DARE LAUGH AT MY AGE !! I am one wise man !! And most important of all, do not feel a disgrace at all ! Its not degrading to be a dog !!

So, to all my dear friends, I will only allow you to be angry this once. So,

1) I think my hoo-man can make me a happy dog by pawtecting me ALL THE TIME.

By not putting me or other dogs / hoo-man in unnecessary danger. For instance, I think the hoo-man should leash us up if the hoo-man knows that we are snappy, or at least warn other hoo-mans, that we dogs can be snappy. This may safe us from unnecessary trouble.

PHEW !! I am tired after this long "lecture" ....... I shall now tag all my friends to tell me SOMTHING that your hoo-man can make you happy.

The things about Breeds

I see that there are some taggings going around about breeds and thought it may be good to do a post on breeds ......

Maybe its just me, but I do believe that there is a general perception of the different breeds around.

Some say that pugs, (***ahem**** thats my breed) ..... are perceived to be full of worries ...... BUT the truth is that, we pugs, worry about nothing as long as you give us our food and play.

Some say Golden Retriever, (**Ahem*** thats my brother Bond) are gentle and calm ..... But the truth is that my dear brother Bond, is NOT very gentle and calm when he sees big dogs, he is known to have fight and injured big dogs. But he has improved so much now, he does not dare to start anything should our FIERCE human (**Ahem*** Thats our Gal Gal) be around

Some say that Cavaliar King Charles Spaniel, (**Ahem** Thats my brother Boy Boy) are known to be courages and cheerful ..... But the truth is that, he can be an irritating whiner at times ....

Some says that Rottweiler are fierce and they kill every single thing that is moving, like cats or small dogs. BUT the truth is that ....... Bear and Bruno are one of the sweetest Rottweiler I have ever seen. The may be huge, but I tell you, they are more gentle than Bond, thats FOR SURE !!

Some say that Bull Terriers are very fierce, and some bull terriers are known to have torn the faces or limbs of children. But I cant imagine the sleepy Scuba to do that.

But what I am trying to say here is that, what you perceived the breed to be, may not be what is the temperament of the dog.

And I always believe that, like a child, the dog is what it is not because of its breed, but because of what its owners have been teaching / training him.

For example, maltese are know to be very meek and mild, and clean and white. But I have seen maltese that are full of brown stains and snap when people touch it.

So, all I can say is that, a dogs characteristics and temperament are "groomed" by the owner. There should be no general perception of any dogs.

Lumpy Lump NO MORE !!!

Hey Everydogs and hammies !!!!

GOOD NEWS !!! ANNOUNCMENT !!!

After being in confinement, I mean, in jail for almost 3 weeks, I am pleased to announce that the lumpy lump has healed !! Well not completely, I am errrr .... bald "there" .... where the lumpy lump used to be. The lumpy lump has dried up, and now it is a bald patch there .... well, I dont mind that, this will makes me a unique pug, dont you think so ?

Oh yeah, as you guys knows, being in jail is the most difficult time, I have completely no access to the internet, no games to play, no NOTHING TO DO !!!!!

And what did I do in jail ? This is what I did

I spend my time counting the grills in jail. And I can proudly announce that I KNOW FOR SURE that there are 24 vertical grills on each side of the jail (excluding the 2 ends) and 4 horizontal grills on each side of the jail. SO !!! What does this proves ? This proves that dogs CAN count, and yes, I am not senile yet, almost though :p

Oh yeah, besides spending my time in jail for the past 3 weeks, Fat Fat was kind enough to bring me to Bond's office. Errr .... wait, lets see, while in jail, I have visitation rights from my friends everyday. And I get invited to Bond's office twice a week.

Review of my lumpy lump

OK ! I have finish my course of antibiotics and although the lumpy lump looks nice and cool now, But the bad news is that, IT IS STILL THERE !!!!!!!!!!

Part of the reason it is still there is because the bitch, I mean Girl Girl the CKCS, keeps licking my lumpy lump ! And as it is constantly wet with her saliva, my lumpy lump is never healing !!!! ARGGGGHHHHHHH

So, now, Gal Gal said that I needs to be on confinement, just like how those mothers who just give birth have to be on confinement.

So all thanks to Girl Girl the CKCS, I am now ALONE ! all by myself! 24/7. Away from the licky Girl Girl.

And guess what? Instead of staying at home, I heard that arrangements have been made for me to be sent to Bond's office everyday, so that I can recuperate in peace.

Visit to the Vet

My last visit to the vet was in June 2006 and I have not gone to the vet since then, until last saturday .......

Well, I have this nasty looking lumpy lump on me for three weeks.

And as it has been growing by the days, Gal Gal thought it will be good to pay a visit to the vet.

This is how big (small to me) the nasty lumpy lump is on my body, can you spot it ?

As usual, I dont normally like the vet, well, except today, I will tell you why later. So, this is what I did to stale for some time to the vet.

I tried to block the driver's view before the driver can move out of the parking lot... .... But I block the wrong view !!!! I should have block the front view of the driver, not the side !!!! ARGGGGGGGHHHHHHH

Next, I sit on the road directory, hoping that the driver will not be able to find the way to the vet. .... ... but but but .... the driver knew his way !!!!! ***bite pawsss***

While waiting for my appointment, I had a chat with the other dogs around

Me : Hey handsome ! Have you been waiting for long ? I can let you go in first, I am not rushing for time. You go first ok ?
Mr Handsome : Thanks bro, but I had just seen the vet.
Me : ..... ...... ...... ..... damn !!!!! .........

MISSION FAILED !!!!!

Anyway, the vet said that the nasty lumpy lump is not as nasty as the paranoid Gal Gal imagine it to be. And it does not seems cancerous. According to the vet, this nasty lumpy lumpy is on the skin layer, which means it is not from the body, which means it is unlikely to be cancerous ...... and the vet told Gal Gal this "If I am you, I will be tempted to wait for it to subside, which it will" ... .... ..

Phew ..... See !!!! I told her !!! I dont have to come to the vet at all !!! ***grumble grumble****

We have a little crisis at home, after much discussion with all the boys in the house, we have come to a conclusion that someone has cast a spell on all the boys in the house to be naughty !!!

Gal Gal said I am a notty little old boy. But I dont actually think so .....

You see, I have not been eating my food for 3 days last week.

Day 1
====
I ate at most 4 mouthful of my food, and went to bed straight after ....... I didnt touch my food in the morning too .......

Gal Gal starts to get worried and showers me with lots and lots and lots and lots of attention, thinking I am sick.

Day 2
====
I ate about 3 mouthful of my food, and went to bed straight after. Gal Gal and Fat Fat got worried and started to hand fed me ...... I finish 1/2 of my food before they both got tired and stopped feeding me.

Again, I got lots and lots and lots and lots of attention from Gal Gal and Fat Fat as they thought I am sick.

until, the fateful thingssssss happen ..........................................

The next morning, I saw Boy Boy the CKCS stealing my leftover food and I RAN TO HIM FROM FAR FAR FAR FAR AWAY and fought with him ....... and I finished my food.

Day 3

I ate about half my food and went to bed, when Bond came near my food, I growled at him. Not long after, I ate ALL OF BOND'S food while he was out for his toilet break ......... and in the middle of the night, I finished ALL MY FOOD .......

Oh Damn!!!! I gave the game away, I thought I could get more attention from not eating my food, but but but but but but ....... sigh !!! ALL Boy Boy's and Bond's fault !!!!

Now I dont get as much attention as I had wanted to .............

And Gal Gal and Fat Fat are calling me notty boy notty notty boy .... :(

How ? How ? How ? HOw can I be their good boy again ?

We have since got the developer to re-developed our land. And after some constructions, we have now moved to a landed property.

I sleep on the human's bed on some nights. And I did the same last night.

I woke up in the middle of the night feeling HUNGRY ...... and I stood at the edge of the bed, looking at my food bowl on the floor ..... I was contemplating whether to jump down to eat the food or wake Gal Gal up ....... and the next thing I know, Gal Gal the ELEPHANT, turn over and kick me out of the bed ....................................

I dont even have to contemplate anymore, I fall out of the bed and landed very near my food bowl ....... Oh ....... so "CONVENIENT" ..... and I just started out eating and eating ......

And by then, in about 15 seconds, Gal Gal realised what she had done and she jumped out of the bed to see how am I ....... she found me eating happily ..................

Hope she dont kick me out of bed tonight

I could never understand why you locked and chained me to the balcony all day and night for my 4 years with you. I have never seen the outside world during my 4 years with you. My one and only world is the balcony.

The only playmate I have was my own pee and poo. I played with them everyday. They are my best playmates as they keep me entertained. But somehow, you hated me for playing with them, and you would cane me whenever you see me playing with them. But what else do you expect me to do?? Sleep?? But I dont need 24 hours of sleep everyday. I also need to exercise my limps and minds.

The only thing I look forward to everyday is the junk food and table scraps that you give me. They are the only thing that keep me going. But I had to be careful of the fish and chicken bones you gave me. Those are the evil little things which got stuck in between my teeth and poke my mouth! Bad Evil Little Ones!!

One day, many people came to see me, I was so scared, I had never seen any other human beings besides you. I thought they are here to cane me as well, like what you did to me everyday. I started to panic, I was so scared, my only defense was MY MOUTH!! I know, I will snap at anyone who came near me, you try to come near me, I snap you, human beings are evil. During my 4 years of contact with human, I think human are exactly like the fish and chicken bones in my food, they stuck in between my teeth, making me feel miserable. They poke my mouth giving me pain !! I hate fish and chicken bones and I hate HUMAN!!

My plans work, I was so agressive, I snap at every single person, none of them want me 8) Aren't I smart? Soon, less and less people came to see me. One day, somebody came to see me, from far, I could smell the dog smell on him, just like my smell. How come this person smells so much like me? If he smells like me, is he me?? Let me walk up close to smell him, argggg ..... smells so much like me, smells so much like my mama .... argggg .... this is so cool !! .... I let the person pat me, in the end, I follow the person home.

Life was good with this person - Fat Fat !! Finally, I had my own playmate!! And guess what? they are same as me, 4 legged! I shared my food and drinks with them and eventually, I also had my own "son", a puggy named Boo Boo

I had my most wonderful, quality, eventful, interesting, fun-filling, all the goodness that I can ever know for my next 14 years with this pack of people and 4 legged friends.

To my first owner, although I still remember you. I just want to say this," Thank you for giving me away"

Till this day, the only question on my mind was "Why did you come into my life when you cant provide the best for me? Why did you bring me home in the first place? I hope you do not do this to any other of my 4 legged friends"

You were chained and locked up in the balcony in the first few years of your life, until we came along. You were so agressive then..... I was so weary of you then, I still remember you biting me then, everyday, without fail, I nearly wanted to give you up. But I am glad I didnt. I grew to love you more by the days.

Over the years, you learn to trust us more. You were so easy to train. Soon, you learn to walk besides me without a leash, and from then on, I also learn to trust you more, you were free to roam wherever you wanted.

You never gave me much trouble. And you were ever so protective over us. Whenever, anyone raise a hand near me, you would growl at him. And you never fails to turn and make sure that we are within your sight even when you were of leash.

We tried our best to give you the best that we can, I remember you love your bone bone so much, you keep playing with it when you were younger. And that bone bone lasted you through your whole life. You only left it aside after your front tooth slowly drop. I know you were growing old and weak by the days.

You love your walk, and you love to go out to meet all your friends. When you were younger, you would be so happy running around and I love to see you so happy. Until the recent years, you would want me to carry you more, even when we go out. I soon realised that you tired easily, you were growing old and weak by the days.

You love me to carry you, you love me to cuddle you. Recent years, I realised that you like to sleep in my arms.

I hope you enjoy your stay here with me, Benji. I will always remember you.

I was still wondering why you looked at me with those pleading eyes before I went to work on the 13 September 2004. You were breathing so heavily, I had been preparing for this day for a few months, but it was never enough. It still pain to know that you have to go. Finally, I decided, and I told you,"Ok Benji, lets go gai gai, you are going to work with me!" I opened the door, you followed me, I carried you along the corridoor, you were still panting so heavily then. While in the lift, you started to foam, I start calling your name, I keep talking to you while we drove to the vet. I didnt let you go, and I know, you went peacefully in my arms.

Benji, I am thankful to you for letting me be with you during your last minute. You choose a very good time. You knew both of us wanted it that way. To spend eithers last moment together.

It is only after you left me, then I realise how many years we spent together, you came to me in 1990, that means we spent 14 yrs together. Before that, your first owner said you were about 4. That makes you an 18 yr old doggie. I hope you enjoyed your time with me Benji, please also forgive me for the things that I had not done for you. But remember the fun we had together. I love you always.

Benji, you go find Boy Boy Senior first, I am coming for you guys soon.

Today is the last day of the Lunar 7th month - THE GHOST FESTIVAL

Legend has it that the ghost / spirit of the deceased will come to visit the living. ..... ***hair standing**** so eerie .....

Oh no ! I am so worried for my 3-legged cat !!

I had been searching high and low for Kitty for the past 3 weeks, and KITTY IS NO WHERE TO BE FOUND !!!

WHO TOOK MY KITTY !!!! I hope its not the EVIL HANDS!

And something is very funny, Kitty has a friend who always stay with him, they are always seen together, now even Kitty's friend is missing !!!!!!

I am so worried for them. I hope all is well with the both of them! Can you doggies and GG help me to pray for them?

Hmmmmm ..... Gal Gal is up to no good last Friday .... hmmmmm ..... fishy fishy fishy .... I smell something fishy.

Gal Gal came home on Friday smelling of fish.

And I found this in Gal Gal's camera !!!!

Grilled salmon with fries. Did you see that? 3 HUGE pieces of salmon !! Yummy Yummy !

And theres this paw paw photo. The paw paw looks so familiar, I think there is Jay's J, Boy's and Baby's mas, Girl Girl the Hammie's Eil, Chiyo's HM and Huskee's mum and maid

GASP !!!! Did the Human went out pawty without us ? Oh no ! this is so not acceptable !! How could they do this to us !!! What is a pawty with out us dogs and hamsters ?

And guess which fishy place they went to? FISH & Co obviously !

The only not so fishy is this beef patty which Huskee's maid gave to us ...... and I tell you !! THEY ARE YUMMYLICIOUS !!! I love the beef ball !! Now I have to beg Huskee to get the recipe from his maid :)

DWB Singapaw Pawty - Part 2

Oh yes, did you doggies know that we had a mystery guest at our DWB Singapaw Pawty?

I am not supposed to let too many people know about this mystery guest, cos we "kidnapped" him from his mum but he was back home before anyone found out ..... shhhhhhhhhhhhh

Ben Ben wanted to join this pawty very much, so Girl Girl the hamster and myself came up with a plan to "kidnapped" Ben Ben when his mum was at work.

So, I was in charged of driving and "kidnapping" Ben Ben, while Girl Girl is in charge of giving the directions .......
GG : BooBoo , left turn at the lights, right at the building ..... go straight all the way .... a left left right right straight in front please .....

BooBoo : You can confusing me and giving me more winkles !!!

Anyway ...... we made it to the pawty with Ben Ben and he was sitting quitely with us ..... not making any noise ......

DWB SingaPaw Party - Part 1

WARNING : THIS POST CONTAINS PICS WHICH MAY ALSO UPSET YOUR STOMACH. Do not read if you just had your meals, is going to have your meals, is feeling unwell. In short, read and see at your own risk.

I invited Girl Girl the CKCS to attend the DWB SingaPaw Party last week and we had lots of fun there, we played with the nice doggies there and there was also a bark day cake to celebrate Boy's and Huskee's bark day. More of the DWB SingaPaw Party later.

So, off we went to the party, Girl Girl the CKCS gets to roam the place free as she had always been a very obedient girl and is never known to run off, in fact she is a scary cat, she dares not run away too far from us. And me? I stayed with Gal Gal the whole time of the pawty, errr ..... errrr .... as I am a naughty boy and I LOVES to mark. If Gal Gal lets me have a free roam of the place, chances are, she have to run after me with a mop, cleaning the whole place as I am full of "water" and I can release quite a lot :P

Anyway, guess what? The humans didnt notice that Girl Girl the CKCS went around begging for food and the people at the cafe kept feeding her ...... and it was later that the humans realised that Girl Girl the CKCS had tonnes of liver treats.

And the next day, Girl Girl the CKCS end up with a stomach upset and which resulted in this

This is only part of her "output" and the humans are not exactly happy about it .......

Now you see, we always have this mindset that before you feed other people's dog any food, it is basic courtesy to check with the owner. Some dogs are known to be allergy to certain food and some are know to have health problems and we don't want to end up feeding other people's dogs things that they shouldn't eat in the first place. And when the owner say enough, that means enough, you do not carry on feeding and feeding and feeding.

Just like the other day, the human is not very happy when someone kept feeding me ice cream and when the human told that person that "Its too much, Boo Boo shouldn't be eating too much" but the person still said "Never mind, once a while is fine" ..... hmmmmmm .......

Also, liver when taken in large amount can becomes toxic to dogs.

It is not surprising that some dogs came down ill / uncomfortable after the pawty. And according to what I know, 2 dogs including Girl Girl the CKCS went home with stomach upset. 1 dog who is recuperating from kidney failure had a relapse after the pawty.

However, to be fair, I think the owners (ie Gal Gal) is partly to be blamed for this, as she did not see what Girl Girl the CKCS was doing. But I hope that people will check with the owners before they feed other peoples dog in future.

Hmmmmmmm ...... Should I be wearing a tag which says "Please check with my human before you feed me." next time I go out?

See, I sleeps on the floor, in my own bed, every night. And the humans sleep on a King Size bed. So one fine night, I dont know what happen to the human, but it ended up that one of their bolsters came flying down from the bed and ended very near me.

So I thought that the humans are so kind that they are giving me the bolsters.

Now tell me, doggies ! What do you do when you want to claim a stake on an item? You MARKED IT right?

So thats what exactly I did ! I peed on it ! MARKING it as MINE !! And Boy ! its a BIG PEE !!

But the humans are not exactly happy ...... ....... And they THREW AWAY MY bolsters ..... ...

Remember my Hot Date with Snowball?

Well, we did many things during our date, which I shall not bored you with the details. Among the many things that we did, Snowball was also "admiring" my mouth and teeth. And I shall not say what we were doing to lead Snowball to do that. You can imagine, but I am not saying :)

Anyway, Snowball is so fascinated with my Pearly White teeth for someone of my age (I think I am 16 by the way). I only have one secret recipe to that : FOOD ! Specifically BONES ........ YUMMY BONES

Well you see, bones, besides being a GREAT FOOD, also helps to clean our teeth and gums when we chew chew chew .... .... .... and BONES gets rid of Tartar on our teeth, thus removing bad breath too ...... And yes, my mouth smells good all the time.

Great news about Kitty

I have GREAT NEWS about the kitty !!!

Headline 1 : Kitty is safe from the Evil Hands !!

Over here in Singapore, strays cats and dogs are normally rounded up and impounded by the Agri-Food & Veterinay Authority of Singapore (AVA) or what I call the "Evil Hands". It is common knowledge that the "Evil Hands" put these strays to sleep within days if they have no collars or microchipped on them (ie, no way of identifying the owners) . This is so as Singapore is a tiny little island with no extra space to place all these strays. So the "Evil Hands" will send them over to Rainbow Bridge.

And the SPCA is not helping either with a statement they issued in June 2007 that animals surrendered to them, with no clear owners may be put to sleep within 24 hours due to a shortage of space .... WHAT IS THIS ???????

Anyway, the GOOD NEWS is Kitty is safe from the evil hands.

There is this agreement with AVA that sterilised cats are spared the "Evil Hands". And sterilised cats are "marked" by a snipped left ear. The rationale is that sterilised cats are unable to reproduced and thus will not "dirty" the environment ? (someone please explain to me, I dont quite get this)

This is the snipped left ear. The vet will cut away part of the ear after they have sterilised the cat. And the "Evil Hands" are not allowed to round up and put to sleep cats with snipped left ear. Oh poor kitty, 3-legged and with an incomplete left ear.

Oh Whatever !!!! As long as the kitty is saved from the "Evil Hands". Cute sleepy kitty.

Gal Gal has found out that kitty actually has at least 4 feeders, including Gal Gal .... That means on certain days, Kitty gets 4 MEALS !!! That is so so so so so so so much better than me !!! I only get one MEAL per day !!!

Remember the 3-legged kitty who ate ALL MY DINNER?

Well, Gal Gal finally realised that she can't keep feeding OUR DINNER (especially mine) to the Kitty.

So off she went to the pet shop to buy some dry food for Kitty. However, she was overwhelmed by the different brands that she see in the pet shop and didnt know what to get for Kitty. In the end, she has to call Uncle Chris for his professional opinion. Smart move I say!

So, Gal Gal has finally "adopted" Kitty, except that Kitty is not staying with us at home, she will still be out roaming in the estate, except that Gal Gal will make sure that Kitty is comfortably fed. Errrrr .... ..... ... Have any one of you heard of this type of "adoption"? WHAT IS THIS ???? ..... *sigh***

Well, so officially, I have a 3-legged Kitty as my brother, except that Kitty is not staying with us? Am I confusing you?

My only complain now is that I have to share my daily walking routine looking in the estate for Kitty. And not only that, Gal Gal will spend some time feeding and playing with Kitty and I AM NOT HAPPY !!!! ALL THESE ARE EATING INTO MY ALONE TIME WITH GAL GAL !!!

So effectively, I am spending lesser time with Gal Gal alone ... *** sob sob sob***

3 Legged Kitty

I have been seeing this new kitty in my estate for the past weeks, and everytime I see him, he is always in a down position and I never take a second look at him.

However, today when this kitty saw me, he tries to moves towards me .... and thats when I noticed that this kitty is 3 legged !!!!

Gal Gal thought that kitty was hungry and went home to bring OUR DINNER (YES, MY DINNER TOO !!) and gave ALL to kitty. Now, not that I mind sharing MY dinner with a homeless, 3 legged kitty. But surely, Gal Gal should know that the kitty cannot finish ALL OUR DINNER all by himself ??? What is she thinking about !!!!??? I doubt she was even thinking then .... **sigh***

Is beancurd good?

Fat Fat bought some unsweeteen beancurd for us the other day. Its made from soya beans and is soft and taste YUMMYLICIOUS !!!

However, Gal Gal is very apprehensive about giving us beancurd, do you doggies know if beancurd are good for us? Gal Gal says that some beans caused us to FART but I thought humans FART too ????

Hmmmmm ..... I think Gal Gal is simply jealous that Fat Fat bought the beancurd for us and not for her .... hummmfffff .....

A New Pet Cafe

There's a new pet cafe in town and we went to check it out just the other day.

I like this place so so so so so so (to the power of infinity) much, it is nice, the place smell nice and most important of all, I can eat with my human there !! Wohoooooo ..... how nice can life be?

This is what the human had

Ceaser Salad

Veal Sausage

Pork Cutlet

And Jasmine and Lemon Tea

And we dogs had Beef Meat Ball with rice and veges in them. And I tell you, the portion of Beef is HUGE HUGE HUGE HUGEMOGOUS ..... Yummy .... and it only cost S$6.90. How cool is that?

We also had Fish with rice, chicken rolls with cucumber and carrot, and brown rice with meat... and Guess What again? this cafe use BROWN RICE instead of the normal rice ...... yummy yummy yummy

Opppsss ..... errrrr ..... did someone say he/she wants to see the photos of our food? ....... errrrrrrr ..... errrrr ..... they are all in my tummy, I forgot to take the pics ..... errr ...... I will remember next time :P

I dont know what came over me ....

I was barking and chasing Gal Gal's shadow yesterday night. And the shadow keeps moving, and I just keep chasing and chasing .... awwwwwwwwwwwwww .... I am so exhausted after 15 minutes.

Gal Gal just find it so funny, its as if I wanted the shadow to play with me.

Why does this very very very Bad, Naught and Evil ALEX wants to leave Junk Messages in my comment box? Doesnt he have anything better to do? If he is really so free, why cant he sleep or play or do something useful like I do?

Today is Vesak Day in Singapore ! Its a public holiday ! Yeah .... I get to go out with Gal Gal and Fat Fat and i get to stay with them the whole day !!! YIPEEEEE !!!! Holidays are good !!!

Vesak Day is also known as Buddha day it is on this day which the Buddha was supposedly born, won enlightenment and passed into nivarna.

Well it doesnt matters to me, I am not a Buddist. I am happy as long as I get to go out and play :)
